Anti-galling treatment for stainless steel screws "M Coat"
Prevent seizing of stainless steel screws and nuts!
The "M Coat" treatment refers to a Teflon-based lubricant film treatment developed by Maruemu Manufacturing Co., Ltd. as a countermeasure against seizure of stainless steel bolts and nuts. Tests conducted on stainless steel bolts and nuts treated with "M Coat" showed that they could be tightened without seizing even under conditions that are prone to seizing (such as a 3° wedge). After tightening five times in succession, no seizing phenomenon occurred, and no abnormal "galling" was observed on the threaded surfaces of either the bolts or nuts.
